The purpose of a clinical assessment is to gain an understanding of the presenting problem and possible contributing factors. Our psychological assessments consist of a clinical interview with one of our licensed therapists utilizing clinically valid and reliable assessment instruments. These interviews involve a review of one's biopsychosocial history, current mental health status, and screening for other disorders. The process will result in a written report that renders a provisional diagnosis and continuum of care recommendations (i.e. education, counseling, additional testing, psychiatric, medical care, etc.).
