31.1% of U.S. adults are estimated to experience any anxiety disorder at some time in their lives. It is not uncommon for individuals to feel a sense of panic, worry, and fear from time to time. However, when those feelings are reoccurring over a length of time or come "out of nowhere", it can begin to take a toll one's life. Anxiety may cause people to experience obsessive thoughts, restlessness, irritability, fatigue, depression, or physical various symptoms (i.e. racing heartbeat, sweating, dizziness, insomnia). Symptoms of anxiety can impact one's ability to function in the workplace, social situations, with relationships, and at school.
